1.8 - Chapter 8: Flowers + Wagons = Love?

After the scene, you can look up if you press circle when you're slightly east of the Save Point to see the Angeal Clone. Head outside to battle three Gun Bull Heads. After the scene, it's time to build the 1st Flower Wagon.

Search the area for the •USED TOOLS. You can also find Tseng's Camera, a Shinra Soldier's Mask and a Banora White Juice, but those don't help you. Now head to the Slum Market and check the wood near the accessory shop. A man is quickly to stop you and ask you a question. Answer with the 3rd answer (Seventh Heaven). You'll get the •OLD LUMBER. Head south from Slum Market and you'll be in Sector 8 again. Head north from the fountain into Loveless Street, and talk to the man near the car to get the •WORN TIRES. Head back to the area before the church and check the glowing orb to get the •HOW TO BUILD A WAGON.

Go inside and make the first, crappy waggy. After some scenes, pick the option "I love you man!" so you can do some more exploring.

Optional

Head to Slum Park, which is east from Slum Street, and talk to the Sephiroth Fan. Now head to the fountain square and talk to the running boy. Now go east from the fountain to the station and talk to the woman and select the 2nd option. Head back to the fountain and speak with the Genesis Fan club woman and select the 2nd option. Now head into Loveless Street and talk to the woman in the alley. Again, head back to the fountain and talk to the Genesis Fan.

Now head to Shinra HQ. Talk to the left receptionist to find out there's a Zack Fanclub (if you spoke with Cissnei in Junon only). Now head to floor 49, the SOLDIER's floor and check Locker #6 in the Briefing Room to find •SPRINT SHOES inside. Also talk to the SOLDIER 3rd Class inside the briefing room to unlock new missions. These are in fact required for the 2nd flower waggy.

In order to make a 2nd, better flower waggy, you need the following items:

Craftsman Monthly: (Beat Mission 1-2-6, talk to Shinra Captain,Loveless Street) Walnut Wood: (Catch all 6 Wutai spies; See Chapter 6) Premium Tires: (Beat Mission 7-1-6, talk to SOLDIER 3rd Class in Briefing Room) Mythril Tool: (Beat Mission 2-1-6, talk to the researcher in the Vehicle Room; You must've done Missions 2-1-1 to 2-1-5 for him to show up)

Also do the squatting game in the Shinra HQ's Training Room if you haven't done this already. More info about this minigame is in section {6.1} of the Walkthrough. Those items are required for the 3rd and final Flower Waggy.

End of optional

Head to Aeris for a scene at the playground. You'll be back at the Shinra HQ AGAIN, darn. Now you'll have to select the second option again and get back to Aeris all the way again. Oh well, only if you want to do the optional part, that is. Check with Aeris several times to make sure you have seen all scenes.

Before you move on, BE WARNED. You can NEVER return to Midgar again, and that means you cannot go back to unlock certain Missions if you haven't done that yet. Below is a table with Missions that you should definitely unlock .. NOW.

Head back to Shinra HQ.. and select the first option when talking to Kunsel, after you've done everything you wanted to do in Midgar. A few scenes will happen, and it looks like you're going to re-live the famous Nibelheim scenes again!
