After discovering Claude's where abouts head up across the bridge into the building with the red roof on the left. Go up the stairs and loot treasure chests for a BLUEBERRY and ROSE HIP. Exit the building and head right to enter a new screen. In front of the first building are three chests containing LEATHER ARMOR, 200 FOL, and a RESURRECTION ELIXIR. The leather armor is automatically equipped and a mini-tutorial is given. From here head to the house at the bottom left, this is Rena's house. After talking a bit Rena decides to give Claude a tour around the village. Enter the house at the right, this is the Mayor's house but he's not in right now. Go up from here in to a house with 2 kids playing, be sure to grab the STRAWBERRY JAM out of the chest on the left. Next, enter the building where you opened three chests, this is Arlia Goods, the Item Shop.
It's recommended that you buy 2 pairs of SANDALS since they are better than what's currently equipped, nothing.

Make your way to the west side of town and enter the house at the top left. Just some newly weds, exit and head across the bridge into the church. After the conversation is over head back to Rena's house. After dinner Claude and Rena appear upstairs, she suggests that you go to sleep while she cleans up. Try to head down stairs only to have Westa, Rena's mother, come up and start a conversation. Claude heads downstairs and eventually meets Regis, the village mayor. After some talk about the Hero of Light and disappointment on Rena's end (which causes her to take off) it is agreed that Claude sleeps in the Mayor's house. Upon waking the next morning, head downstairs and talk with Regis who suggests heading the village of Salva. He comments that the current weapon may attract too many people so he gives Claude a LONGSWORD. Go back to Rena's house and into her room, open the chest to get BLACKBERRIES. Head to the Sacred Forest and talk to Rena. Make your way back to town and note the man in red who doesn't have much to say. Leave the town at the northern exit.
Welcome to the World Map. Follow the path towards Salva, you may encounter random battles along the way but they're not too much to worry about.
