Now that you're in town take the time to explore. When you're ready, head up the path and enter the building with 2 doors, a Weapon/Armor Shop. Open the chest to get the HEFTY RING which is all but worthless. Check out the shops and upgrade what you can.

Head to the upper section of Salva and enter the large house on the right. Take the stairs and enter the first room on the left, open the chest for the PORTRAIT B. Talk to the man on the first floor that say's Master Allen is busy at the moment and asks you to leave. With no leads in Salva, Claude decides its time to return to Arlia. Upon entering Arlia, Westa and Regis meet Claude at the gate with astonishing news, Rena is in trouble. Allen has taken Rena back to his mansion, get back to Salva!
Back at Salva, head to Allen's Mansion to discover the door is locked. Claude will blast it down but the Phase Gun will be drained of energy and no longer works. Head through the door on the bottom right, Claude discovers RENA'S HAIRPIN. The statue on the right side glimmers, examine it to move the book shelf out of the way revealing a secret passage.
